Yes, 2 albums perfectly cut and sequenced for 8 track were: The first Aerosmith album & Ted Nugent's Cat Scratch Fever.
Could never be as good in other formats.
They had/have a lot better dynamic range than cassettes and of course no clicks, pops and scratches like vinyl. Some broke all the time but you could fix them w. sticky tape.

Hate to admit it, but yes I did. I also fixed some 8-track players. Back in the 70s, we actually had car 8-track players. Scary!

Yes, and I also learned how to fix them by pulling just enought tape out to fix them by snapping the tape hard enough to reload it into the cartridge, just in case your junky 8-track player ate the tape.

My last 8-track tape was by Ringo Starr.

know country music? when alabama first came out ,i bought theirs on 8 track..i have about 6 of them and still have alot of the others i had back then too.this will blow ya but i still have an 8 track player ..doesn't play lately tho because the belt broke......

Yes and I sold them this year in a yard sale - Who the heck wants 8 tracks today? (Hey, at least I didn't throw them away)

I had a karhman ghia way back in 1971 which had a 4 track system. I could NEVER find tapes for them.

not only did i buy 8-tracks...i had an 8-track recorder and could make my own tapes!!!
