I'm actually starting to get worried. My periods are always either right on time or a day early or late. Never a week. And I'm only 14. I know that stress might have something to do with it. But I have not had cramps, any little blood spots, or anything. I know this is silly, but I'm scared. I don't know of what, just that I am scared.

it could be from stress or it could be that you have recently lost or gained some weight. if you are not sexually active then you don't have to worry about being pregnant. if it continues though you need to go to a obgyn it could be something that needs attention

If you are only 14, your periods could sometimes be irregular. See your doctor if it goes on for another week, and as long as you didn't have sex (which I certainly hope that you did not), you aren't pregnant or anything. Don't worry, I was like nine days late once and it was the worst period of my life once I got it. The pain certainly compensated for the delay. Good luck.

It's not a big deal. The same thing happened to me when I first got my period. It was on time every month until one where it was very late. If you are concerned talk to a family member or a doctor. Everything should be okay.

Have you been sexually active? If so, take a hpt and if it comes back positive, then talk to your parents...quick. If you haven't had sex in the past month then don't worry too much. For a girl your age, it's normal to be late... and have nothing wrong.

Good luck!

You should deffinately try to relax..Sometimes your period can vary just because it wants to. If you have lost weight or gained it will effect it also .If you really think there is a problem you should get a pregnancy test.

If you had sex you could be pregnant. If you haven't your more then likely not. Sometimes if you do not eat right or over stress about things it can cause you to have abnormal menses.
