I love all kinds of music...from classical to rock, to jazz, etc. I think country is very popular because of the catchy phrases the artists use in the lyrics, it's usually safe to listen to in front of your kids or grandparents, and it's usually about something everyone can relate to....

Crap seems to be the most popular genre. The stuff on the radio in most cases don't even use instruments anymore. Can you imagine? Music without instruments...the world has gone f***in crazy

i think it depends in wat ppl u hang wit. If you mean by top 40 i would say rap/hip hop. I honestly see no appeal to this kinda of music, unless its then undergound stuff then its good. The top 40 rap/hip hop just talks a bout sex violence and swears. rock on

as for me, i love rock music, but i don't know a lot of people around here who do.....usually, if they do, it's like "emo" or something, which i think is a little weird

r&b cuz. . .lots of people listen to it (even though a bunch of it is no good)
Unfortunately, we don't hear enough jazz.
