I'm hosting a Party this year, and I need a cool costume. But it can't be too expencive or scary. Any ideas?

Go to a JoAnns fabric store, if close. They sell ready made costumes, they also right now have a large fl yer out with costumes starting from things you already have.You can view their ad on line at www.Joann.com, A classic witch dress could be elaborated on with some purple, or green ribbon, sequins, or fabric paint, if you don't sew this can be glued on. Wal-mart also has pre made costumes and a craft dept. If you go to a fabric store the employees will help you also.

It can be a princess. Just a guess.Put your favorite costumes in a hat and pick. I'm not that great at choosing costumes but this is what I would do. Im not sure but if that doesn't work ask a friend for their opinion on what you should be. Best thing is to ask a really close friend cause usually they would know your type.

Theres Miss America, or a Disney princess, or even a private school girl. I wear a uniform to school but when I go in public the guys seem to wear it. You could wear the knee high socks, shorten the skirt some, tie the shirt (kind of like Britney Spears in that one music video... but not as scandelous)

Alot of stores sell just the cat/devil/mouse/dog/bunny ears, and tail. you can put those with pretty much any outfit you allready have and maybe use some eyeliner for wiskers etc. to make a great costume.

is it a couples party? And how old are you.This is a good idea if you are not 14 or 50. One year a couple i know went as a pimp and a prostitute. My husband and i went as the big bad wolf and little red riding hood.

girl from the 80's!!
take an old sweater....and make it so one end hangs off your shoulder. then wear a tank top under that. lots of blue eye shadow and pink lip stick. really high side pony tail with a scrunchy. and wear a skirt with spandex.
we're having spirit week at my school and we dress up ever day of the week. today was 80's day!

White face paint, red lipstick, and a stop at Forever 21 for a Chinese gown (~$25). Geisha!
