i am in love with acoustic songs and i was wondering if anybody had recommendations. i really like john mayer, the scene aesthetic, oasis, gavin degraw, ben harper, etc but i'm looking for some new songs. based on what i've mentioned what are some good artists/songs i should check out?
and i'm really into john mayer (favorite song by him is "my stupid mouth"), but i'm sick of his overplayed songs (ie. "your body is a wonderland" and "daughters") and was wondering if anybody had other recommendations of his songs?

First of all, you MUST listen to the acoustic version of Thunder by a band called Boys Like Girls. they're on myspace. it will change your life.
next, here's this guy i know that wrote these really nice songs. here are his purevolumes:

Ronnie Day is a really great artist, too.
& the band Secondhand Serenade.
lastly, this guy named Landon Pigg is realllllyyyy talented. I love his song Can't Let Go.

Maybe check acoustic songs by: Michael Hedges, Ritchie Kotzen, Eric Martin, Ty Tabor, Vernon Reid, Lenny Kravitz.

Check out any song on his first album Inside Wants Out, but especially Back to You, Comfortable, Quiet, Neon, and Victoria. All most all of the songs on that album are just acoustic, because it was an independent release... But those are some of the best ones on it...

well im not sure about john mayer...
but you can try jack johnson's taylor....
there are so many artiste and bands that have done acoustic versions to their songs....bands like nirvana, foo fighters....etc
