I do the laundry in the house and just recently discovered that besides the "normal" bikini briefs that my 3 daughters wear, there are a number of them with a pocket on the inside!? I am puzzled as to why this would exist. Can anyone help me out? (It must be something more than an additional layer/liner because if it was for that purpose it would be stitched shut on both ends. Why is this stiched shut on one end and open on the other???)

It is just an extra layer of fabric. The reason it is not stitched on the ends is because the stitching would be visible on the front of the panties... that doesn't look very good. Them girls are very particular about "cute" panties.

I think they are referring to the size of your... u know what. Meaning that u are so small u are gonna get lost inside of a girl.. Either that or they are saying that the girl is loose, as in been with a lot of guys. I don't know which it is but I am sorry that they are picking on you like that.

That's just how underwear is designed, maybe when they stand up it'll open up a little bit to get better air flow. I wouldn't worry about it, and if you're daughters catch you staring at their underwear it will be very awkward.

I have two suggestions.
1) it is probably just another layer, but in a production factory it saves a number of seconds per pair not to stitch it.
2) its a place to hide a roll of quarters when your anorexic child goes to get weighed.

It is not a pocket.It is just lining. I can understand being a conscientious parent, but get out of your daughters underwear. Immediately. It is absolutely inappropriate. If you wanna know what your kids are up to, talk to them.

It's Not a pocket!!!! It's just that the lining isn't closed off (sewn)because they are cheaply made.

its an extra layer...simple as that....usually cotton so you vagina can breathe.....
not a pocket.
