This is my favorite song. It's very deep. It makes me cry. Do you like????

It's by Bread.

If a picture paints a thousand words,
Then why can't I paint you?
The words will never show the you I've come to know.
If a face could launch a thousand ships,
Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you,
You're all that's left me too.
And when my love for life is running dry,
You come and pour yourself on me.

If a man could be two places at one time,
I'd be with you.
Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way.
If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die,
I'd spend the end with you.
And when the world was through,
Then one by one the stars would all go out,
Then you and I would simply fly away

Props on your flavor in 80s track Eason Elton John and Bernie Taupin have been the Songsmiths of the capacity ballads contained in the 80s IMHO. heavily accompanied by potential of Billy Joel... The stuff Elton has finished for movies is stunning... My EJ faves may be the only and don't enable the sunlight pass down on me. Have a hear to the album of persons overlaying his songs - Oleta Adams completely soars on DLTSGDOM. Sinead O'connor does a stylish Sacrifice. are you able to sense the affection is somewhat up there with Elton's maximum suitable. thank you for the unfashionable bear in mind...It develop into my fave track era.....

One of my favorite songs. An old boyfriend once dedicated the last verse to me, just before he and his family moved away. We were teenagers and so crazy about each other.

The lyrics are very well written, but I'd have to hear the song to really tell you what I think of it overall.

Very pretty. I prefer "Try to Catch the Wind" by Donovan, makes me think about my little daughter.
