I played soccer growing up and I have all these trophies that don't know what to do with. Take a picture and throw them away? Take off the plate with the tournament and year, save them but toss the trophy? Is there someone/someplace to donate them? Looking for suggestions.

Contact a local school or two. Used trophies can be recycled to give kids comming up a trophy at a better cost for the programs.
I have heard that special educational schools use them. It would not hurt to call a few schools.

Most shops that sell trophies, will take them. I don't know if they buy them, but at least you know that some kids out there somewhere are going to be provided with one that they might otherwise not get (because of the cost). Remember the thrill? You have a chance to pass that on.

I gave a bunch to a local karate school to use for their tournaments after I removed the plates. It doesn't cost much to replace the plates.

I'd put them in a box and store them for a day when you can show them to your kids. If they don't mean that much to you I would say get rid of them.
