I don't mean if he finds he's generally attracted to girls--I mean he got drunk and slept with one...

It has been my experience that people use alcohol as an excuse to do things they really want to do anyway, but don't have the courage. Maybe you are bi, what's the big deal?

There's a distinction between identity, attractions, and behavior. Behavior is influenced by all kinds of outside social influences. Attractions are what most people mean by "sexual orientation"; it's who you tend to be attracted to. In the case you mention, the gay guy would still have a gay orientation (assuming he didn't have bisexual attractions to begin with). And, identity is what a person sees themself as. There's often a distinction made between "gay" (identity) and "homosexual" (attraction / behavior).

The abovementioned gay guy would definitely have a sexual history best labelled "bisexual". Most people have at least a VERY little bisexual attraction, but if he's got little to none, then he still would. His attractions would stay the same pretty much no matter what. As for how he identifies...that's a really personal thing that people pick for any number of reasons; not always based solely on attractions. So...depending on the individual, he may or may not identify differently after that experience.

I'm gay. I can tell you that just because I sleep with a girl doesn't mean I'm bi. So far in my life time I haven't been able to develop sexual feelings for women.

It's just like how straight men can sleep with other men for whatever reason but they're still straight.

Not necessarily. I think that it's a matter of who you are sexually attracted to. I consider myself to be a lesbian, because I am sexually and physically attracted to women. But I've slept with men. I guess I did that to see what it was like, and to make sure I knew for sure before I started calling myself a lesbian.

Alcohol makes us do things we would never do. I remember a guy in high school who ended up doing the nastiest girl in school because he was way wasted off alcohol. He would never touch her when sober. If you are sober and you do a girl you are bi, if you are drunk, you are not in control of yourself.

No, it makes him a gay man who's slept with a female.
Don't read so much into things.

no. when you choose to have sex with someone, it's just your preference. when it's the strong attraction towards someone, it's who you are.
