We are currently going through a tech revolution. There are many parallels to the industrial revolution. The amount of waste being improperly disposed of, the widening gap between the classes of labor, the overcrowding of the low wage workers, the overcrowding of the city vs the town, and the extreme speed of the technology being developed with out giving society as a whole a chance to catch up to the new changes.

Religious revival in the USA. It happened right after the Revolution, and it happened again when the Fundamentalists were created, in the early 1900s, and today, monster churches are being built all across the country.
