one got it at Harvard and the other got it at let's say Cal State LA, would the one that graduated from Harvard be held at a higher level just because of the school he graduated from?

It might dictate where you start in your career, but only you can dictate where you go from there. You see, idiots might get into Harvard due to family legacy, but most idiots wash out in the business world.

Look at Shrub Bush. He went to Yale because of his bloodline, but then he ran several businesses into bankruptcy before he got the managing partnership for the Texas Rangers. From there, we were dumb enough to elect him over one of the most brilliant political women this country has ever known. The rest is the decline and fall of the US as a world respected superpower.

Most likely. Harvard is usually years ahead of what they teach at a Cal State, plus you have to be real good to get into Harvard.

But don't discount a degree from Cal State LA either. I'm a Cal Poly Grad and I'm doing alright.
