SITUATION: Five years ago you broke up with your ex girlfriend who was your girlfriend for three years and was your close friend and bandmate for 10years. Your reason for breaking up was you had a lot of self-issues to fix and you felt that you couldn't handle the relationship because you were both young. She did everything to get you back but you continued to reject her. Within a year, her dad had a mistress, and she was diagnosed of multiple breast tumors and when you came back she wouldn't speak to you. You wanted to win her back and did everything. So she gave you a chance because she still loves but you screwed up! You kept on making promises you'll be there but you didn't come while she was waiting for you. She never ever spoke to you again and she even transferred to another place. You decided to let her be. And your paths have separated.
Within five years, you have got a good job, earned a good living, and met several other girls and there's one you had been eyeing.

This girl is different from your ex of course. She has some positive traits which were negative with your ex. But you just couln't seem to love her. Then you decided to make the real move after flirting with the nice girl for quite some time but just this morning you stumbled upon your ex who's looking more beautiful, available and have not been involved with other guys for the past 5 years, and you had coffee and you really enjoyed her company.
QUESTION #1: Who would you choose?
A. ex-girl
B. nice-girl
QUESTION #2:

obviously the nice girl, with what have described, "reason for breaking up was you had a lot of self-issues to fix and you felt that you couldn't handle the relationship". Five years and all the failed relationships indicate the issues have not been resolved. why go back to what failed when the issues are still there.

Hi EC, You did a awful thing to your x G.F. YOU made alot of promises to her,and said you would be there for her.Where in the hell were you!!! All you we're thinking about was yourself. You owe your x G.F. alot.I don't know why she stills love you,but she does.If you are seriours about her this time, and are there for her when she needs you,and you think about her before yourself,i say you have a good change with your x G.F. She much love you alot,to give you a second chance. Don't blow it.
