Do you know what dialysis means? It would be better if you could try this sentence yourself, then come and ask us if it makes sense. However, since I don't know what grade you're in and since this is a really hard word for certain youngsters, I will give you an answer.

FYI, dialysis is a word that describes a medical process that is performed on people with kidney problems whose body cannot process their own fluids and urine.

You could say something like, "My friend who has kidney problems needs to go to the doctor each week for her dialysis treatments."

its like a spring cleaning of the kidneys every few days or week!!, because the person with kidney failure, well there body cant manage to get its kidneys to do what its supposed to do properly anymore and needs this machine to make sure all the bad stuff the body dosnt want goes away or because it has used what it needs and is throwing the rest of it away as it were, and needs to be taken away so dosnt sit in the body going bad... think old food in fridge or rubbish bin!or one very large water(blood)filter! think heart bypass but for the kidneys!
