You can't hold on to a person against their will. They have to be with you because they want to be. Sometimes a person has to feel freedom for awhile, but then they will look around and say to themselves, "I had it much better with her and I miss her." Then they will be with you willing, and loving it, instead of feeling manipulated, if you had forced them to stay with you and not let them go. If they never return it gives you a chance to start fresh with someone who will appreciate and love you for who you are.

If you love them, and they don't love you back. I think what this means is that you should be happy with whatever makes them happy. (and let them go) And if they love you back...well then obviously you'll love them forever.

Some people feel pressured to stay with someone because of what the other person wants. If you let them go then it gives them a chance to breath, so they can work out what how they really feel. If you love that person you will want the best for that person.

It's true it would be painfull,... for whatever reason you had to let one another go, (Hopefully it would be a good one),. When your back in one anothers arms, you'll know exactly how you feel about one another and you'll realize how much you care for him/her..Thus never wanting to leave thier side once more.

I think if you truly love someone then you should respect thier decisions that make them happy, even if it means that they are happy with someone else. but i also think that you shouldn't just let someone go, if you truly care about them, they will know when leaving how much they mean to you and how much leaving you is breaking your heart.

You really can' t keep someone if they don't want to stay, so if you are letting them go you are just allowing them the freedom to make their own choices without you pressuring them through guilt. Let things unfold naturally. Breathe.

real love is not one-sided, if you love someone you do what is in their best interest, if they feel that leaving is in their best interest you let them leave. people make mistakes.
