The Iraq war.
Why did it start?
The war was started under the premise that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction. Now we know that was a lie, and as a result of the Downing Street Papers, we also know that both Bush and Blair knew it was a lie.
So there are two crimes to start with.
The real reason for going to war in Iraq is that it was instructed by the powers that be that run the world, and control most of the governments, and the UN.
They are called by several names, such as The Illuminati, New World Order, Fourth Reich, The Elite, Bunderburgers, Zionists, and Globalists.
They consist of a small number of very rich and very powerful families, who have an agenda to control the entire planet, dispose of over half the people, and enslave the remainder.
They are the ones who provide instructions to government, and any president or prime minister who does not comply with these instructions ends up like JFK.

Through the secret service departments, which they also control, they create various false-flag terrorist events, in an effort to justify war. 9/11 is such a case.

What is the current situation?
The current situation is disastrous for both sides, as is the usual case in war.
The coalition forces, mainly American are suffering high losses, with no end to the war in sight.
The Iraqis are suffering incredibly high losses of civilians and those defending their country, both from direct fighting, and from the horrors of depleted uranium. which causes radiation similar to nuclear weapons.
As a result of many Iraqis being disfigured for life, and in incredible pain, then they are easily persuaded to take their own life, and to take out invading forces with them. This is why there is such an increase in suicide bombers - they have no hope of a reasonable life, and are soon to die anyway.
The depleted uranium is blowing all over the world, and has been recorded as far away as London. This is causing the cases of cancer to escalate world wide.

number one. bush, Jr. is not an idiot. far from it. to come all the way through life experiences and to be the top man of the most venerated nation of this world -- means you have to be "somebody" (clever or intelligent etc. --whatever you want to call it). this being said...now
your original question "war in Irak?"
my opinion -- since you are taking a survey I hope --(not to be shared by CIA or FBI) -- all opinions are divided between right and wrong. Mine lies in between. My point is this -- when you go to war or decide to go to war -- you should know in advance what you want to achieve that is number one issue. Next you should give yourself a time frame --is it one year or 5 yrs. Next you should also give yourself a financial frame -- how much is this going to cost -- cost vs. benefit approach etc. I am sure while the USA -- has so many intelligent people -- their resources have not been put to better use. I rest my case and I let you draw your own conclusions after you read all the answers. Hope next time you don't call a President an "idiot" -- before you look up the meaning in the dictionary. Hope it helps.

I'm with you on that one. It's rather debatable, but if we are looking in a more long term perspective, basically he screwed us over. I'm sure he knew their were no weapons of mass destruction, his father was an idiot too..runs in the family apparantly lol. But, come next election if a democrat is elected first thing they will do is pull the troops out. Not a good idea, then the middle east will eventually gang up on us. So congrats Mr.Bush you've offically screwed us all over. Woo freakin hoo. Whatever happened to 'this will be a short war?' Ahh, politics..sucks more every day. However, i would like to see troops pulled out as innocent people are being killed for meaningless reasons. But, you have to consider, we're to far into this so called "war" to back out now.
-Edit- In response to the um..person below me..there will be a world war 3, If you've served this country you should know that lol..it's inevitable and we've already started the beginning of one..mark my words haha

against the Iraq conflict yet on account that we began it we ought to end it. of course there is the possibility that with Saddam in potential we would have finally had to circulate to conflict in some unspecified time sooner or later. Who knows? I only think of the money would have been extra valuable spent in the united states of a on relatives potential progression. recommendations you, i'm not some fool who's blindly anti-conflict or anti-protection tension. till all human beings in the international ceases to be aggressive there'll continuously be a want for a protection tension. as long as worldwide places compete for land and supplies there'll be conflict. people who campaign to end all wars or do away with the protection tension stay in a dreamworld.

that's odd...I think you are an idiot...along with the rest of your Liberal miscreants.
The war in Iraq is the main reason we will not have a WW III.
And it's really funny how those of you that have never served our beloved country are the ones that are first to complain about it.
I tell you what.... When you pick up a gun and defend this great country then I will listen to what you have to say....
Until then... You can go back to hugging those trees.

Yes, he's definitely an idiot. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq but we're still there and people are still getting injured and killed.

It's terrible.

Way too many people are dying, and at this point, it is meaningless deaths. Bush should pull our troops out and yes he is an idiot, and sometimes I think a retard as well.

War is wrong unless in self defense. Iraq was never close to attacking the U.S., so it was wrong.

What was OUR oil doing under THEIR soil, anyway?
