For some reason they just aren`t playing like a team. They are making high school level mistakes. They dont seem to be working together as a team should. Maybe its the pressure of being Super Bowl Champs. They need to forget that and start playing like they didn`t win last season and they want to win it for first time. Sure they lost The Bus and a couple other players, but they still have some of there key players. Its not one player that makes a team. A team is only as good when they play as a team and not just as a group of individual players. Example: a quarterback looks good because the receiver catchs the ball. Or he threw a great pass because his line held back the other team allowing him time to get the pass off. But this is just my opinion.

The Steelers are doing so bad, for one because their quarterback has one of the lowest QB Ratings in the NFL. That's a good indication he is not doing any better than whoever is QB for the Raiders. Secondly Willie Parker is only good for spurts in the game, and he may have great stats but he is not that hand the ball to 30 time back. Thirdly they have a pretty soft WR core that teams are not afraid to cover. Fourthly there Return Team mainly Santonio Holmes is not very good at return yards and I am pretty sure the furthest return thus far is to the 36 yard line. Not good. So basically the Steelers have not much going on offensively and I am sorry to say that Defense does not always win a ball game.
If the Super Bowl was not an indication of how bad this team might be this year I don't know what was.
Honestly if the Steelers are a .500 team be happy.

Bill Cowher found out Roethlisberger was having an affair with his wife.. They released Roethlisberger and signed Ryan Leaf for the rest of the season

Randle-El is gone.
They are content from last year.
They have some injuries plus all the different problems with Big Ben.

I think it's pretty obvious. Ben is worthless. He has the second worst passer rating in the NFL.
