I would have said James Hetfield 10 years ago, but he blew his voice out making the black album. Still the greatest front man of all time in my opinion. As far as now Id have to say Tim 'Ripper" Owens. Hes the front man of Iced Earth and Beyond fear. He was also the guy who replaced Halford in Judas Priest after he left. He can belt it out like a banshee. Awesome metal voice.

no doubt james hetfield.
he can actually sing and use different tones instead of yelling a bunch of random crap.

Trent reznor is also pretty good..

the frontman of vader (his name is some polish nonsense i can never remember) is really distinctive. heavy as hell, but still comprehensible.
