What is the most terrible haircut/hairstyle you ever had?

My uncle took me, my brother, and two cousins to a barber shop in Mount Pleasant, PA many,many years ago because an older cousin got his hair cut and it looked really nice. There were 2 barber shops in that town. We went to the one run by a professional sheep shearer (I'm guessing). Imagine 4 young teen aged boys looking kind of like Moe from the Three Stooges, less than a week before school started in the fall. Junior High is rough enough, but sugar bowl haircuts during the mid 70's really made you stand out in a crowd, that is if the crowd would even want you around. Thank God that hair grows and can be recut. We all laugh about this now.

Around 2000 my hair stylist wanted to give me a modern shag. I didn't know what it was and reminded him that my hair style has to be feminine looking or else I end up looking like my brothers and am sensitive about that.

Sure enough, the modern shag seemed on me to be a boy's, shaggy haircut from the 70s and I can't pull that off. I tried it for a week but just couldn't do it. He had to give me another hair cut.

A long time ago I cut my own hair. It was shoulder length and I just wanted to trim an inch off the ends. What happened was I kept trying to even it out and I kept getting more and more frustrated because I couldn't get it even and I kept thinking---I can do better than this----and cutting more and more off to even it up and before I knew it, I was sweating and getting all upset. I ended up with a crew cut.
It was soooo awful.

It was aweful. It was short layers on top and a really thin layer down just past my shoulders. Then the stylist poofed it up on top. I looked like a giant walking mushroom. It was SOOOO bad. I only had it for a couple days though..i went back right away to get it fixed.

When I was 4 or so, I cut my hair. So my mom took me to the hair salon, and told the lady to cut only a little, so it didn't look like i chopped of my hair. The lady was having a bad day or something, and was pretty grumpy. She ended cutting my hair in this really ugly, choppy way, and it looked hideous.

I have hair to my butt, and I wanted to get layers in the lenght of it. So I went and the lady did about half of it and then said she just couldn't do it. She stopped and I was stuck with a half head of layers. So I had to go some where else, and I ended up loosing over half my hair length.

I went to a hair place to get a trim. So I tell the girl give me a trim and she ended up cutting my hair very short I was so mad that i was yelling at her. My hair was shoulder length and she cut it short like a boy. I did not pay for it, I went to the manager and he fired her. I looked like a punk rocker I hated it.

right now i have a haircut that barely reaches my shoulders, My hair used to reach down the middle of my back. I hate the one i have now because when my hair dries it get sreally short (just below my ears) and its horrible b/c i have really curly hair.

my hair has always been mid length, but once i had it cut just above the shoulders and then got the bright idea to get a perm. i asked for a loose perm....ended up with helmet hair UUGHHHH! took about 2months till i could get it straightened and could do something with it
