I didn't like the fact that the leaders of the race were involved in an accident. But, I was happy that somebody FINALLY was brave enough to jump out of line to make an attempt to pass for the lead. So many times we see these plate races end with the cars running nose to tail with nobody wanting to risk losing their position. Jimmie Johnson wanted to make a pass for the win and Brian Vickers was going with him. As Jimmie got beside Dale Earnhardt Jr, his car hit a pocket of air while Brian was coming up pretty fast. Unfortunately, Brian hit the rear of Jimmie's car sending him into Dale. It was all an accident, but it was good hard racing.

I didn't like the way the race ended, but it was a finish that fans are going to talk about for a long while. Even better the week before when tony s rolled across the finish line out of gas. I guess that racing.

Hated it. I bet Brian Vickers gets shafted by his team for the rest of the year. Jimmie J. was trying to win the big show at the end of the year and Brian Vickers just made a bone head move. I will not be surprised if they pull his car out from under him for the rest of the season now. He has a lot of growing to do.
On top of that Jr is a driver I like to watch, and what surprised me the most was he did not seem to be super upset in the post race interview. Just took it in stride as "That's Taladaga."
I hope Brian Vickers poops square for a week. He sure messed up my fantasy picks for the week. Glad he got a win I guess, but there are a lot better ways to do it.

It reminded me of the glory days of Dale Earnhardt. And to reply to the last answer, Hendrick Motorsports had already banned him from team meetings, all the while telling the media they were all still working as a team. Brian Vickers (yep, I'm a Gordon Fan) was only trying to win, he hardly hit Jimmie. I'm sorry Jr. got caught up in the mess, but like he said, thats Talledega. I'm wondering now if Brian will get to drive the last 6 races, or if Rick Hendrick will pull a Jack Roush and get rid of him early. If he does, my opinion of ALL Hendrick drivers will change.

My jaw is just now shut again! Wow, was that stunning!
Brian Vickers is going to have a question mark hanging over him until he wins a clean race, assuming he can do it. I wouldn't want to be him, especially in the Hendricks offices or in the city of Talladega.
Has anyone else noticed he didn't apologize to Junior?
Junior's really matured and gotten classy this year. Props to him.
The fans were right to boo. I'm not a Junior fan, but I booed right along in my house.

If the 3RD place car had been Gordon,Harvick,Burton or any other chase contender you know it would have been"just one of those racing deals"nothing else said and off we go to the next race.Well it was a racing deal and it's over,it was Talladega(all 3 races ended under caution) so pack up,load up and lets get to Charlotte to race at night, the way racing is ment to be.
I loved it ,I was there and saw it unfold in front of our camper.

I have a bitter-sweet feeling about the end,
as many other fans, I'm disappointed of Jr.'s an JJ's finish position, But I believe that Brian would have made that more cleaner than that

As a Dale Jr fan I hated what happened. But...you can't cry over spilled milk. Dale Jr and his team showed all that were watching, that they are the true class acts on the track today. They didn't point fingers, they didn't blame anyone. They took what happened and have decided to move on.
To bad I can't say the same for the HMS drivers who decided to blame Dale Jr for their wrecks.

The earth is around 4.6 billion years previous. existence has been contemporary for over 3 billion. Homo sapiens sapiens is at maximum one hundred fifty,000 years previous. this is a million/20000th of the time existence has been contemporary on earth. So confident, humanity has been around for a tiny volume of time and could bypass and be replaced by using others quicker or later. i could prefer to think of that we are going to get replaced by using ever extra enhanced toddlers of humanity although, not great-enhanced canines.
