It depends upon who the party candidates are. At the moment Giuliani seems to beat Hilary by about 4 points. Hilary seems to beat Condi Rice by about the same margin. McCain can't seem to buy a break.
The Republicans seem to have a much better shot at the presidency than keeping the House & Senate next month, but a lot can happen in 2 years.
