Cry. Seriously. Let it all out.
Then, when you're done, try to make sense of it.
If your sweetheart left for good, perhaps you can join them eventually or maybe someone even better will come along. Sometimes it's important to be alone, you never know what lesson you might need to learn.
People die. It's sad, but it happens. They are now on an adventure you can't even imagine yet.
Doctors don't know everything. There are tons of therapies out now to treat unfixable problems. Start looking into alternative therapies and try to learn the lesson your body is trying to teach you. Most illnesses have their roots in negative beliefs about ourselves or life in general. Louise Hay has written several books on the subject, she's even created lists of illnesses, their causes and possible cures that relate directly to how the self relates to the self.
You sure have had a crappy day, but negative events can be seen in a positive light, even if the only positive is you learn from them.
Good luck!
Gwen

I can certainly understand how you feel.
Yesterday one of my beloved pets passed away AND I got dumped by someone I trusted my heart with.
Small steps... and one at a time. That's my best advice.
When I have a bad day, I do something nice for myself. Yesterday I started reading a good book and did some "pamper me" shopping.
Things happen around us every day that we have no control over but... we do have control over our smiles and cries. Think of something you really enjoy... painting, having a long conversation on the phone with an old friend, taking the pup for a walk, writing poetry, shopping, hot fudge sundae (yum!)
You're hurting...so this moment is all yours. If that means crying until there's nothing left to cry... go for it. It's good for you.
Always remember... there's sunshine on the other side of that storm cloud.... and when all of this is said and done, you're going to have one incredible tan! =)

go splurge on urself, buy urself something u've wanted for awhile, a day at the spa sounds like a good massage could do u good! rescue an animal from the shelter for some unconditional love, call a long lost friend or relative, but most of all count ur blessings c/ there is someone else out there who's had a worse day!!!

Find one small decent thing that you have done today, one beautiful sight, one wonderful song and build on it. What you are doing is switching your path from negative to positive. Find a second small thing...a third. All things balance eventually. If you dwell on the negative you will not be able to escape. Try smiling at the mirror even. Without these negative days we would never know how to appreciate the positive days....good luck Lola.

oh im so sry hon!! well you said other than praying so that knocks out one of my answers (however, I will pray for you! :) ). But i would recommend going to a coffee shop w/ a friend and then doing something for someone else. no matter how simple just do something for someone else. listen to some music (preferably not by the singer that died). take a bubble bath, relax and go to bed! also, consider counselling. theres prolly even some free counselling services nearby. good luck hon!

Try plexing. It's a technique where you gently tap the soft spot under your left earlobe right behind your jaw. Do this while humming or listening to music and breathing deeply. Don't try to keep your mind off the thoughts that bother you, instead try to stay focused on them one after the other while tapping and breathing deeply. Hope this helps!

Ice cream. There is nothing in the world better than a big container of Ben and Jerry's to pick me up. Then tomorrow, have one hershey kiss and go for a walk outside.
While just being down right comforting they all increase your dopamine production in your brain which can improve your mood...

when i have a bad day i usually make myself tea and watch a favorite movie or read a favorite book. basically doing anything that you associate with good thoughts should make you feel better. also writing helps me to feel better. or you could do something creative like make a postcard and send it to postsecret to relieve a bit of stress [http://postsecret.blogspot.com/]
i hope you feel better
