Yes I do! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I don't get why movies are made so that the conversation is barely audible but then the actions scenes are deafening. It sucks to keep having to turn the volume up and down as the scenes change. Something should be done about that.

That is a problem that I have noticed too on DVDs....but at least you can turn on the captions. If you were in the theatres and you miss some important dialogue...you are screwed.
But another problem with watching DVDs at home is that you can easily be distracted by other things and you will pause the movie. Whereas, watching it in theatres will force u to sit through the whole thing, unless something really really important comes up.

Sounds like fun.
We were watching Star Wars on an HDTV with surround sound. That was crazy. The volume was turned really loud and the kids all ran in to another room because they were scared.

I can't stand that. I love to watch movies in bed and I turn it up to hear and next thing my hubby is woken up by sudden increase in sound of the movies.

YES!! and the bad thing about surround sound is it is just the background noises that you hear all around you, not the voices!! Very annoying.
