She started out as a news journalist or anchor women, She has been with Stedman for years but doesn't want to get married or have kids. Her best friend is Gail King. She sponsors Dr.Phil's show, She has a radio show with her friends now. She also has a magazine called O, She founded the Miracle Network..The money they get donated goes to people that Oprah and her staff think deserve it. She has donated ten million dollars to the Katrina Disaster to build homes for people and has encouraged other celebs to do so . she has started a thing to get molesters caught ..if a viewer or anyone has info that leads to arrest she gives that person i think 10,000 of her own money, she herself was molested by a family member but over came that obstacle and many others. I know that when she was younger she won a beauty contest. She is an avid reader of noverls, be it fact or ficton books. She's the highest paid tv celebrity on talk back shows. Thats about all I know and maybe some of this isnt 100% because it's not from her mouth.
