Go to a beautiful beach on the Australian Coast line watch fireworks from the headland and then welcome my husband to a great new year with a bang.

Sit around the TV with my family, with lots of drinks and snacks... and watch all the people having fun partying around the world, while we wait for midnight. Then after we sing Auld Lang Syne, we go into my kitchen and watch - from a distance, a massive fireworks display through the window that the city always puts on every year. Then we call all everybody in our phone book and shout "Happy New Yeeeaaaaaaaaarrrrrr!!!" (with slurred voices). Then I go to bed, happy, usually around 4am. lol :-)

My husband and I usually go a New Years Eve dance and dinner. It is also my birthday.

7pm - 2am Drinks with mates usually at a pub or someone elses place (so I don't have to clean up the mess)
2.15am - Say goodbyes and try and catch a cab home
2.30am - Still try to catch a cab home
2.45am - Eventually get a cab and arrive at home
3.15am - 7.30am - Sleep
7.30am - Breakfast (or I get cranky)
1.00pm - Mates usually comes round for a bbq lunch
