I ask this question because of one of my earlier questions about different football rituals, and most ppl said thet they prayed alot. So not only does football provide an extreme adrenalin rush, but it urges us to pray and its almost automatic... Does this happen to you?

Some I don't think watching a bunch of guys break commandments and praying for your team to get a recovery and run it in counts as improving your soul but Football is certainly a healthy outlet for male emotion.

Some people like to associate their adrenalin rushes with experiences with God. Look in the bible, in the old testament, when people wanted to get close to God, they did it through prayer and prayer, not through prayer and kicking a**(unless it was in His name). Besides, those who seek God through their own adrenalin rush mostly see their own versin of God because they are wrapped in their own emotions. Seek Him through prayer and solitude and let Him show you who He is if you really want to seek God. I've equated 'goodness for your soul' to be with 'knowing God'.
