A slope a = delta(v)/delta(t) depicts acceleration on a v-t diagram. When the slope (a) of a v-t curve > 0 for t >= 0, that means acceleration is positive. Here positive means in the same direction as the velocity. When the slope < 0 for t >= 0, that means acceleration is negative (aka, deceleration) or in the direction opposite to the velocity.

If you stretch a spring vertically and let it go at t = 0 it will initially accelerate upward in the direction it is moving. It's picking up speed as the spring retracts from being extended.

But then, as the spring tension relaxes, it will start to slow down. That is, it will accelerate downward in the direction opposite to where it is going so that its velocity is less with each passing second. Eventually the upward velocity reaches zero and spring turns around to extend again.

when the graph is a velocity time graph its the first dericative of the position, this means that whenever the velocity (v)>0 then the position is increasing. if its negative, v<0 then position is decreasing, in even simpler terms when its positive in v and hits a zero in v and becomes negative is like the position graph being a function liike a roller coaster with the maximum height being the zero in the velocity time graph

Getting someone else to answer the questions won't help you nearly as much as learning the material.

it means that the starting place is somewhere above zero (positive) and that the speed is descreasing constantly.
