I was watching a commercial and it suddenly got louder in the next commercial...then it went back to normal after the commercial was done...it really bugged me...

It's because they want you to hear their commercial when you're taking a pee or washing dishes during the commercials. Commercials sell and the louder they are, the more you will hear it when you leave the room.

I'd like to know myself...

FX is the worst violator... as a channel. It's so bad I won't watch, and have notified Fox, my cable provider, and major advertisers that I no longer watch.

In my area, on Comcast Cable... they broadcast LOCAL commercials on many channels... and can NEVER seem to match the correct sound levels.

because it was recordeed louder than the other ones. yeah that bugs me too. the commercials for the sattelite provider are always hekka loud.

The broadcaster turns it up FX has really loud commercials.

They push the volume to the maximum VU, and the show is under maximum.

thats to get your attention,,,so you will wanna buy those loud aboxious things they are seeling,,, it is also the same reason that some chanelsare soo low then turn to the next and you are blared out,.,,
