Can people look very happy in the picture, while in reality they're miserable?

I mean... let's face it...
Nobody can tell what's on people's mind...

You can be laughing and look great, but deep down you're broken down...

You can look sad, but deep down you're happy (even though this is a rare case..., but the most likeliness of the above statement is high...

Listen that's the tirck ..I had a friend who lost his baby, his wife I mean .. and you know that whole night he was laughin and acting normal .. but when we got in the car, he was sad, and then he broke the news to me. I was so SHOCKED. I went back in my mind to all those flashbacks of how happy he was a few minutes ago, I said to myself WOW, this is interesting.

My X, I remember that night I dumped her, look I not mean but I tore all her pictures up infronna her, and told her it was over. She was screaming and crying, Hey she was hurt. And when she left I felt bad. But I saw her the next day in the foodstore, and LISTEN .. this the same girl I dump last night, HELL NO I KNOW she still bug. That's a fact, but she was talking to 1 guy, and she was all laughy laughy, like I never even dumped her. So I caught her in the parking lot, I said hi .. Ohh my gawddd, she SWITCH on my ***. I mean ANGRY, throwin rock, keys, I say Arrhhhh this girl gone kill me.

But as you see DEEP down,she was laughin up with that guy, but DEEP down she was STILL hurt, from what I did.

So listen .. You have to KNOW better, that's all I can say, you have to KNOW when you throw money in someone face, they FEEL insulted even though they miten show any actions, you just have to KNOW.

I have looked happy many pictures, and was very unhappy. I think we all can put on a mask, and pretend everything is ok for a short period of time. I became good at that. I was falling apart inside, but on the outside...I had lost weight, I had my make-up perfect, and I had never looked better.

As far as being broken....I have been there. I encourage you to find friends who know what you are going through....and spill it. Make sure you find a good listener...because advice is not always the best thing.......I just needed someone to listen.

Most people have to pu ton a mask at some point in their lives. There is nothing wrong with it, why air your issues to the world. There is a time and place to take care of your problems, it is probably not in the middle of an office meeting or an interview. It's life. I've yet to meet someone who is happy every minute of everyday.

Of course. Many of us are living miserably and are smiling in pictures as we speak. You are right, nobody can tell what's on others' minds. You also can never tell when a person is living a miserable life unless they show it on the physical.

Yes, I am in that sitution. To the world I pretend to be happy, but I havent been happy since the summer of 2005. My boyfriend was murdered in Sept 2005 and after that it has been rainey days. But I know no one can help me so I feel there is no need to tell anyone how I feel so I keep it inside......

You can tell by looking at their eyes in the picture if they are truely happy or not. Good Luck! :)

of course they can look happy when their really not. everybody puts on a front like that at least once in their life. theres really no way to tell unless you talk to them.
