Some people hate each other no matter what for real reasons or unexplainable ones.
Just be both their friends and if they can't handle that you're friends with the other and one or both leave you, screw them and find friends without issues.
It's not your job to make them like each other.

You are so young. Ask yourself this question -- who will be there for you as a friend no matter what? If you fall in a mud puddle, which friend will stand there and laugh at you with the rest of the crowd, and which friend will walk over and give you a hand to help you? So what the two people you call friends hate each other, what kind of friend are you to them? Real true friendship is not made with popularity contests, and true friendship can last a life time.

Treat them both nice and DO NOT say anything that the other one said, unless it is GOOD, of course!!! I would tend to run with the less popular one more because the other one sounds like she's pretty busy with the friends she's got. Is she a real friend anyways? I'd go with the less popular. She 'd probably do anyhting for you, she has more time for you, as I know you would do anything for her!!

Ditch the dork and go with the popular one.
If you want to get anywhere in life you gotta figure out its "who you know" not "who you are".
Ditch the dork and make fun of them with your popular friend right in their face in the middle of class. A fun game you can play is "Who can make her cry". In that game you take turns saying mean things to someone till they cry. Whoever finally said the comment that opened flood gates wins!

You can divide you time with both of them. Do not mention the person name or subject while you with other friend. Be honest with both of them let them know that you value their friendship. They hating each other is their problem not yours. If one decide they can't be a friend to you because you a friend to other that their lost. They miss out on true friendship.

Echo Ball and Chain and Angel.
Good people (good friends) won't begrudge your choice of other friends. If you've already got plans with friend A... friend B will just have to understand. If they don't... they're not worthy of you.

Thats their problems. Go about hanging out with the friends you want. If your going out and want to invite them, invite them both, let them decide if their going to be childish about this or who will come and who wont. Dont allow them to sticl you in the middle of their immaturity.

True friendships are hard to comeby. The true friend won't care who else you talk to.
