I dont think enough info is given. The winter sky, dominated by Orion is in the RA of 5ish hours so the RA of 6 hours is a good guess. However, the shadow of the Earth that the moon passes thru would cover several hours and consequesntly the RA would change through out the night. This broad area of coverage also makes it impossible to determine the declination of the moon, which could also change through out the evening.

So, at first contact what is the local time RA and Dec? That matters to the location of the observer.

DEC = +23.5 deg
