my angelfish always wait for the floating flake food to sink and it pollutes the tank.should i buy a new food 4 them? which kind? my platy should also eat it 2.

Try buying some bottom feeders to clean up the food that sinks to the bottom. Corydorus are a good fish to get especially the green Corydorus. They are nonaggressive and are good cleaners; buy them in pairs though because they like company. A plecostomus is a good fish also. It cleans up the bottom as well as eats algae. (The gibaceps or sailfin plecostomus is a good worker as well as being long lived and pretty.) I would suggest going to a pet store not Walmart or Petco and etc better chance of the fish being healthier. Also at a pet store you can ask questions and get more knowledgeable answers.
As for food try TetraMin flakes, these are less polluting. As stated above be careful not to over feed.

To many angel fish don't like the pellets its not really the flakes that are making it cloudy but how much you are usinf. Only feed your fish what he can eat in 5 minutes.
Try this and it really should help alot.

angels are normaly mid feeders so dont worry aboutit not feeding from the top or bottom
only feed it a little at a time
if your water goes cloudy then you are over feeding your tank

You could buy the pellets, my fish liked those. They float pretty well.

try frozen brine shrimp or frozen blood worms..they are more meaty and your fish will love them..
