So I have been dating this guy for about a month, and he has been great about including my 1 year old son in our relationship. he plays with him and is good to him and even let him come on our first date.
the thing is, i don't want to push him to include my son all the time. it's not his son and i don't want him to feel like i am trying to make it that way. so i'm always asking if it's okay that my son come with me when i come over, if he can tag along, etc etc. but i think by trying not to push the relationship between them i am offending him more. like today i said i wanted to vaccum his house because his foot is broken and he can't, and i said it's not good for orion to be crawling around with mystery stuff on the floor. then i said, "that is, if orion is even allowed over. i mean he doesn't have to come." and he got kinda mad and was like "why wouldn't orion be allowed at my house?"
so i think i offended him. any thoughts???

When a guy or girl dates someone with a kid , they know that its a package deal . SO yes you are offending him. He knows that your son is apart of you and whereever you go your son will follow too. Be glad that you have a man who wants to accept your kid. Leave the comments to yourself. He is okay with your son and thats a good thing girl.

Sounds like this guy really likes your son. I would still ask if it is ok for him to come over and things b/c that is what i would do...i would feel as if it was a berdun to the guy i was dating but i would also ask him how he felt...ask him if maybe he feels like your pushing him to be around your son.

Sounds like you have found a sweet guy, who genuinely wants to include your son! Since he has a broken foot & you are helping him out, maybe now would be a good time to show him & tell him that you appreciate his being sweet to your son!
That is extremely important.

look girl 1st of all when he got with you he knew you had a son and he knows its not his if he plays with your son and ever thing girl be happy that he is showing that he cares about your son there are too many guys out there that don't even bother in going out with u again because you have son relax and let things take there path remember your son comes 1st before any MAN! if you want sit down and talk to him ask him how he feels about your son before you go any further with this relationship because there is your son and you that he has to accept not just you !

You should be happy that a man is there for your baby, some ******* don't care about someone else child, So think about your own question. Because I'm mother,I think a ****** that don't want your baby around don't car about you,But a ****** that want your baby around cares alto about you.You got a good man, don't mess it up for yourself.

Forget this, sweetie.......you should have used birth control!!! Guys don't want to be tied down with someone else's kid. Huh, he will "put up" with this for now because you are working as his "slave" and probably giving him sex, too. Long lasting relationship???....I hardly think so!
