It depends on what they're made of. I've put leather sneakers in the dryer and they turned out fine. Just make sure you have somewhere else to go while they dry because they make a heckuva noise!

I have done it many times. If they are fairly durable cloth sneakers with rubber soles then it is OK. If they are really cheap sneakers with plastic soles you may have a problem.
The only problem I have is that they make a heck of a lot of noise and the very insides do not get dry and the outside puckers a little. To get them completely dry on the inside I usually have to put them outside in the sun for a while.
But, yes, you can put your sneakers in the dryer.

Group plants together if you want to not only create an indoor green space and nice arrangement, but also take advantage of a big window with lots of sunlight. Plus keeping them close together saves on labor, time commitment, and reduces the likelihood of neglecting a plant or two from getting its required water.
Typically a spring chore, repotting your plants will give them new life and infuse them with healthy new soil. Remember to always wash out a pot thoroughly before you put a plant back inside it.
After repotting them, be sure to place something underneath the pot that can either capture or absorb water that filters through to the bottom. Otherwise you are likely to discover that water leakage from the pot has left a deep stain on your floor or carpet.

If you can wash them in a machine, you can dry them in a machine. The way I dry my work shoes is to put them in a pillowcase, then hang the pillowcase over the door of the dryer--just pull the case up and close the door on it. It keeps the noise down and it's less harsh on the shoes.

Yes the dryer will burn them and they will shrink up. I washed and dried my sneakers before and will never do that again.
