I knew a girl named Bethany who went by Buffy but that's not for everyone. You could use Benny or Bett or Bedbug or Bats or Bendknee or BB or anything that goes with her personality.

Bette or Betty. That's about it traditionally. If you dont like those go with a middle name or a nickname that has more to do with personality.
