I got when I was 19 and pregnant, I'm 36 now. (sigh) they never really go away, they flair up sometimes... thats when they hurt/itch. If they are bad enough they can be surgically removed.

I think about 75%+ of the population experiences hemorrhoids at some point in life. Most people just dont want to talk about it. Yes, they will usually go away.
Check medical information sites for more info on what causes them and simple measures for alleviating some of the symptoms.
You can always ask you health care provider about treatment options. Usually they are minor, but there are surgical options as well.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/L3Fof
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Me...I was 19 when I first got mine due to pregnancy. Have had it ever since *now 25* U can get a prescription or some ointment that will shrink them almost unnoticably but the only way to get rid of them for good is through a very small surgery procedure that requires u to be under local anesthesia. U will be sent home the same day with little to no pain.

I had my first problem probably when I was about 20. They went away untill I had a baby 3 and a half years ago. I've had them since I was pregnant. Unfortunately it doesn't go away now. I'm now 26. I think it's pretty common, just not something people talk about much.

I have them and I am 18. I am pregnant and it is a real big pain. In more than one way! My mom said that she did not have any until she was pregnant with her second child. And she happened to weigh 9 1/2 pounds when born. My mom still has them and it has been 13 years.

Yes, theyll go away, but they can return. I have never had one, but I have two sisters that have always delt with them. One sister is 48 and the other is 42. They have both had them since they were in their early twentys. They get them off and on. They use Tucks pads and preperation H as far as I know.

I'm 44 and I have had them all my life. Not constantly, just about once a month or so. My mom told me once I had them as a baby.
