I have lived in Idaho. I highly recommend that you blow your sprinklers out before it freezes. If you do not do this, you could cause areas of your lines to split, break, or bust having to replace hoses. Replacing parts is not fun, can potentially make a big mess, and cost more money.

Yeah, the water will freeze in the lines, expand, and burst your pipe or ruin the fittings.
