I wear thongs a lot (panty lines) or I go commando. Do guys prefer regular underwear?

hehe. i think i look okay in thongs, thank ya very much. but whatev, no ones seeing... and i might like them because i feel "on the edge" :-D but whatever works for me, right?

I'm not sure if you are talking about what we prefer on girls or on us. On girls, I love women that wear thongs!!! Even though I don't mind regular panties since I find panty lines very sexy.
For myself, like have said before, I wear thongs and sometimes boxer briefs. I think that thongs are the most comfortable type of underwear. They are comfortable if you pick the right type of material, size and cut.. Some can be uncomfortable.
They give excellent support, almost as if I was wearing a jock strap but a whole LOT more comfortable. I don't mean to discuss anyone, but I don't know how most guys can live with what I call “SBS” (Sticky Balls Syndrome), which is the sticky feeling that comes from sweaty scrotum touching your inner thighs...uncomfortable! With thongs, you don't suffer from SBS, as long as you buy the right thongs.
Some people feel that men shouldn't wear thongs, but I don't see why not. People put too much importance on underwear. As if the type of underwear makes you more or less of a man. Dhaaa!
By my house, there's a western gay bar. You should see some of the guys that go in there. They look all super macho tuff guys wearing their western outfits. Totally, 100%, manly dudes! And yet, they are gay! Clothes don't make a man!

Very few butts look decent in a thong...not to mention I find them quite annoying (something up your butt)...commando solves the panty line issue (thongs are apparent when worn because they separate your butt cheeks), and even if ya don't have a nice looking butt or thighs, it doesn't look like ya think ya do and are trying to wear sexy undies...lol!
