Korea is a divided country. Most of the Iron and ore is in North Korea, and most of the food is in South Korea. So I don't believe them to be poor, but you can't eat iron and ore.

Some bigger nation like the USA for example? Hmm, the thought had never crossed my mind. Next thing you know people will be saying the government had a hand in 9/11. Or maybe the North Korean`s starved their people just that little bit more in order to finance their little endeaver.

Good point. But Korea can buy nuclear components on the black market for a discount price from anywhere; doesn't have to be China or Russia. And they can't afford to just buy a nuke, they made it. It's like buying take-out food: it's always cheaper to make it and cook it yourself.

Y'know, instead of Bush-bashing all the time and reading 9/11 conspiracy theories, you might want to do some research so you wouldn't have to ask such easy questions with such obvious answers.
Yes, North Korea is poor. They afford bombs because Kim Jung (mentally) Il is more interested in nukes than food.
