If women were in office, there would be less or no war. Religion is the root of most wars. Our war in Iraq is for power ... oil and to get a president elected for a second term. An army can fight an army or destroy a country, but is a target for terrorist. To defeat terrorism, we need to have people organized into neighborhood watches to locate and report terrorist to police.

Historically speaking, the vast majority of wars haven't been religiously motivated since the 1600's. Check into European wars for instance--after that point war was all about resources, who had them, who didn't and who wanted them.
And if women ruled the world, there would indeed be war. It would just be a little different than it is today. I envision a world where peace would reign for most of a month, and then suddenly, countries would lash out at each other for a week or so before apologizing and coming back together.
There would of course be those feminine-led countries that wouldn't apologize, and those countries would form their own little hate group and gossip at the UN about them, seething and roiling over how President so-and-so launched a nuke and ruined a perfectly good shopping district, or how Premier Whats-her-face had such bad hair style, talking about how her country didn't even deserve to be in an atlas.
At least CSPAN would get more interesting--I mean, there would be a lot less fat bald-guys to look at.
Yes, yes, indeed the world would be a different place with women in power.

yes i can see us ruling the world but at the same time their might be more conflict than we already have and that could cause problems or it could cause less problems and we will have a better world but we could probably stop wars and tried to have world peace but you know sometimes women don't work to well with others and that might be a conflict especially during mother nature but we could work together to stop all the conflicts in the world and help keep world peace because if we continue to have men rule the world then it will be more conflicts and wars and it could be a even worst but they have bring some good things and some bad things but i could see a world where woman world and it seems a good idea. and some wars are about religions and some are about countries attacking other countries and sometime they plan stupid.

Historically women have been leaders in wars (although not always necessarily the aggressors)…what about Cleopatra (Ruler of Egypt) who fought the Romans (31BC) or Boudica/Boadicea (who tried to defeat the Roman invasion of England in 61AD) or Queen Elizabeth I who ruled over England during the defeat of the Spanish Armada (1588)…& of course Margaret Thatcher (The Falklands War)….
You can’t generalise like that…Yes some wars are because of religion…but some are fought over ideology such as a wish to impose/depose a Communist or Nazi regime…or the ownership of land...etc

I think war is a part of the human condition. We, as humans have primal urges that must be met, and the more artificial we make our way of life, the more we turn on each other. In earlier times, tribes of man fought for their own tract of land, and then they fought the food that lived on it. It bred out the weaker parts of our genetics, and made us better thinkers. But, soon, we mastered our plots, and discovered another tribe in the next valley over. So, we either banded together with them, or we fought them. Once triumphant there was more land to try to master, and it became a vicious cycle, until there was no more land. Now we only have our urge to survive, and each other.
So, now, it's who has the best resources, or who has more than anyone else, or why can't you fools worship God like we do, and other such nonesense. In the cyclic manner of things, soon societies will crumble, we will enter a new dark age, and a new society will rise from the ashes... Or not at all, as a new species is selected for dominance.

I don't understand why you feel wars are because of religion? There have been more wars over territory than religion. WWI-WWII-American Revolution-Spanish-American War- and I haven't even gone back 300 years!
Look to the Amazons to see if there would be war if women ruled the world. Amazons were warriors, which does equate to war...

See Margaret Thatcher and the Falklands. World wars 1 and 2 had nothing to do with religion to start with. So i think your a little off the mark.

women may do better though some are just as bad. morals ethics and values and politics are far more important than sex.
and pagans were matriarchal. early Christians took power from pagan women allowed only men to rule in and out of church. we are still mostly patriarchal.
most wars and deaths are over extremes of religion or old religious battles that just wont end, yes.
when politics/power and religion mix it is a dangerous thing
none of them are higher power approved.
