What key would you use to select multiple files that are side by side?

you would hold down the 'control' (ctrl) key then click with the mouse to select more than one object, be it files, cells in excel, whatever.

Control or the apple key. Or shift.

hold the "control" key down and click on what you need or "control A" for all of them
