2 trains of thought. In the truck you are directly putting the load on the rear axle, springs, shocks and unloading the front end, making handling and steering clumsier and maybe more dangerous. However towing a trailer has its risks too....you are pulling an additional "vehicle" and thats putting extra strain on the engine, trans and driveline, some trailers dont track down the road very nicely at speed and you are constantly fighting the wheel to stay straight, the trailer could disconnect,or even jacknife under heavy braking. You could lose a tire or wheel bearings and be stranded too.Someone could also steal the trailer/bike if its left unattended for a while as well.I would use the truck, tie the bike down well, and drive with care.

If you have a truck and a way to load the bike on it there's no need for a trailer, like Paul was saying your speed will be limited to 55mph towing a trailer also you will have 2 more tires that could go flat. The trailers only benefit is being easier to load and unload... I would rather not tow one if I didn't have to...

I would put it in the back of the truck. In the trailer you run the risk of rocks or other road debris from your trucks wheels hitting the bike in the trailer. Also it will be better on your trucks gas mileage not pulling a trailer.

Bikes are for riding, not hauling. If you have to whimp out and haul it, by all means put it in the back of a truck. It's less hassel than a trailer, you can drive faster and protect it from objects being thrown up from tires.

If the bike is show material by all meens trailor it. If you dont wanna fool with rain or weather related stuff, trailor it. Take into consideration the weather conditions and the amount of time on the road and then decide. If you do truck it your talking possible pop up pebbles and dirt. Personnely i would trailer it but thats up to you.

You know... I hear that if you take those things OFF the trailer once in a while... they're kinda fun to ride. The saying IS Ride to Live, Live to Ride... not Trailer to Live, Live to Trailer.

If you're not going to ride it, the next best would be putting it in the back of the truck.

Put it in the back of a truck. Save gas, find better parking and not a bit*h in reverse.
