It really doesn't matter.

His Patriot Acts, as well as last week's "torture" bill have ALREADY redefined our country, and all but eliminated our rights and protections from unfair treatment by our own government. A few Dem's in Congress complained, but still passed the bill.

Both sides have been infected by the neo-conservative PNAC group. This is a whole new ball game folks. Wake up and stop getting caught up in all the political DEFLECTIONS like Foley, and Mexican immigrants. THEY are not the REAL news. Keep your eye on the ball, and stop being reactionary puppets. You just lost your country.

Good luck and God bless.

I suspect about 35% or so. Once the democrats win back the house and seriously close the gap in the Senate, they will go on the attack. They will get ugly.

As a result, Bush's approval rating will once again start to rise as he "gets picked on". The Repubs will use this expertly to their advantage, and win again in 2008.

Mind you, this is NOT what I want to happen. I just have lost all faith in the Democrat's abiltity to run and win elections. Their policies are in the right place, yet they are political morons. I weep for the future of America.

He hit an all time low for any president this summer at 29% the time poll shows it at 33% right now. With him scaring folks with the help of his buddy's in North Korea I expect that it will go higher for awhile. But he will screw that up some way he always does. He had a 90% approval rating at one time just after 9/11 and he squandered that with his war based on his lie.

I'm surprised it's that high.

There are some Repubs who would support him if he rolled ganja with the constitution and smoked it in a press conference though so I don't think it'll go much lower than 25%...
