Yes, I did see the Mythbusters episode. But what are your opinions on the so-called "Whirlpools of Death", because at the velocity of the world's largest known whirlpool, Adam (one of the hosts of Mythbusters) would have more than survived with that equipment in that scaled-down version, although he did emerge with nausea... namely vomiting. Sorry, I am rambling. Your opinions on "whirlpools of death"?

Mythbusters is not real science. It is entertainment that is based upon science.

I did not see Adam jump into the real whirlpool. I did not even see a crash dummy with radio sensors dropped into the whirlpool. They did just enough to make what they did believable, nothing more.

Humans have died in whirlpools. This has been recorded over centuries.
