The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.

North Korea is a disaster waiting to happen. That's a big army they've got there,and I can't believe it's there for self-defense.
Even with the rest of the world calling on North Korea to cease and desist it's not giving up the nuclear program, which shows a disregard for the international community. North Korea may not engage in any aggressive acts for the moment, with China expressing concern at recent events, but I can see Kim Jong-il
being a problem for everyone in the future.

N. Korea is just one more example of a problem that was badly mismanaged by Clinton and that Bush now has to deal with. The N. Korean menace will just continue to grow if left to do so. N. Korea is a cancer and should be treated as one. Many of their military assets are in hardened underground bunkers so I suggest to President Bush (and I did so in an e-mail that I doubt will be read) that he launch an immediate nuclear strike against N. Korean targets using tactical nuclear weapons. But should they prove insufficient, then strategic nuclear weapons should be immediately employed.

Not due to recent events. If you follow world news at all, North Korea has been a threat to take seriously for a very long time. They are just one of many.
