Does anyone know any good comprehension tips for an 8th grader?

lol yeah. Try taking what you know about something and compare it to something else that is similar to the subject you are studying. If you don't understand the subject in turn however, you cannot comprehend the topic and should get help from a teacher.

Take good notes and read the material as many times as needed to understand. WRITE stuff that looks important and that will assist in memorizing it.
