Animal shelters are good. They keep the unwanted animals, that would be running on the street or getting killed. There really isnt any reasons that animal shelters shouldn't be here any more.

When we have provided shelter for all the kids in this world that don't have shelter then maybe we could start worrying about animal shelters. Have you seen the pictures of the kids in Pakistan affected by the earthquake there a year ago, and still they don't have decent shelters and the winter is coming around again for the second time since the earthquake. And those kids are only SOME of the kids in this world without shelter!!
Have you nothing better to worry about than animals?

there is absolutely no reason why there should not be more animal shelters. But I can think of many reasons why there should be A LOT more animal shelters.

well i can give you three reasons there should be more.
1.) It keeps helpless animals who cannot help themselves from being killed or living with people who can not take care of them.
2.) It provides second chances for animals to end up with a good family
3.) It gives a place for familys to go to adopt loving animals.

what the heck? animal shelters are the best thing that a stray animal could wish for! food, comfort, water, compainship until a warm lovely family adopts them. end of story. change your topic to why there should be more animal shelters, you tard!

(1) We need to take care of humans first! Except the rap gangster thug drug dealer losers. . . they can just die!
(2) They are costly to run and give the public a sense that they can just dispose of their pets when they grow tired. People need to be more responsible and take care of their pets for the duration of their lives. If they chose to give them up. . . or put them in a shelter. . .they MUST be charged a HUGE amount of money. Animal shelters are like abortion in most cases. . a last ditch answer for degenerate, lazy, irresponsible people!
(3) Animal shelters are a breeding ground for disease! Also many animal shelter workers are scumbuckets who mistreat animals.
It really is sad that so many animals need shelter. They are put in a bad position they have no control over. It is humans fault they are put in these predicaments. . . .but our society continues to let scumbuckets be irresponsible. If we clean up our genetic pool we will solve many of our societies ills. That is not a racist comment. Our society would be much better if we eliminated many lineages be them black, white, yellow, red and etc! LET'S ELIMINATE SCUMBUCKETS! Maybe we can wipe them out like small pox eh?

A world without animal shelters would be awful, for the animals AND the people.

in order...MONEY...VOLINTERS and PROPERTY. It takes a lot of money to run a shelter, everything from food to medicines to the utilities bills the costs are phenomenal and thats not the land to put it on.
