Plastic is usually nylon, ( set fire to them and watch them drip hehe) most minitures are cast in a lead based metal because the detail is better traditionaly better, however, Citidel Minatures are constantly improving their casting process but a plastic model that is as good as its metal counterpart is a way of yet.

The plastic is a kind of hard styrene.

White metal is mostly tin with some other metals in small quantities.
