Try the hobby of Kings. Coin collecting, it is far from boring, if you like history, mysteries and having things that tell tales. It can also not be very expensive. World coins and some ancient and medieval coins can be very reasonable. A 200 BC Chinese coin can be bought for 99 cents. Books are not to bad in price.
