I want to write poetry but i cant seem to think of any ideas! I want to write sorta dark and morbid poetry and dont know how to begin! Help plesase! ps. look at my other questions and see if you can answer any!

Anyone can write poetry... but you can't just say, " i think i'll write poetry" and do it. The whole point of poetry is that it is deeper, that the words are more than just words. You have to feel deep emotions before you can trasfer them to a poem.
Go out and volunteer for a charity that works with the terminally ill, volunteer in homeless shelters, and research starvation in africa.
Watch celebrities on tv and analyze pop culture. Do you see truth, or lies?
Look deeper and you will see and feel deeper.

If you have any favorite songwriters or poets, than read their poetry and get a feel for where you're coming from yourself. Try Evenasence lyrics or Edgar Allan Poe's dark poetry. If you'd like, I could send you some of my own morbid poetry. Let me know.

Just let your mind go free and write.
Poetry is almost abstract in the way that it is coming from your perception about life or objects or whatever.
If you feel comfortable enough and want feedback, then that when you will want to share your work, or go to a English teacher/professor that specializes in Poetry. They can give you constructive criticism.

Read other poetry and see if it triggers any thoughts.
