Assuming you've checked the ink, try printing from different applications or do a test print. In Windows: Start> Settings> Printers> click on the printer you're trying to use> select the option for test. Also use Windows Help and see if you can find your printer manual.

clean your ink jets (by going into the program that came with your printer) usually under maintenance or trouble shoot.
You can also re install your printer driver and then you have the option of putting in new ink.
Make sure there is nothing blocking the paper path inside, and that the paper is fed in properly.
Hope these might help you.. if not its probably time to get a new printer. They are not designed as well anymore.. pretty much disposable - use them till they break.

1. Check the ink
2. If it continues to do this after you verify that there is ink in the machine, then you should really reinstall your printer. Run the set up software that came with it. It is possible that the computer and the printer are just not talking to each other.

It could be running out of ink, or the ink nozzles is blocked. The printer could have a routine to clean the nozzles. Click print, and then property, to see whether there is such a routine.

Have you checked the ink cartridges? Is it plugged in properly? Are you sending the job to the right printer?

i ask your self whether someplace on your settings you have it set to print a conceal sheet/separator pg & by way of fact maximum printers permit you positioned the order of the print interest - your settings are final first (5,4,3,2,a million, coversheet) extremely than first final (the coversheet could print first then pg a million & so on). For my printer i could discover this placing by using going to initiate > printers > genuine click on the printer & go with properties.

if it is an HP, Lexmark or Dell replace the cartridge. IF it is a canon, replace the print head. If it is an epson or brother, use it to prop open a door. And buy an HP.
